A man was arrested after reportedly stabbing another man in what appears to be a random attack in far east El Paso.

Police arrested 23-year-old Jorge Miguel Perez who is a Horizon City resident.

The stabbing happened on Sunday on the 14000 block of Tierra Leona around 3 p.m.

When police arrived, they found Perez being held down by several people in the front yard of a residence.

Police also met with the victim a 56-year-old man, who had been stabbed multiple times.
