On July 31, 2021, there was a head-on crash with a GAZ truck which was fatal.

The moments of this severe accident were recorded by a dashcam in the oncoming car. The accident took place in on the Arzamas-Satis Highway in the Nizhny Novgorod Region of Russia. A Mistubishi Outlander was cruising down the road when it unexpectedly veered into the oncoming lane, where it collided with the colossal truck.

Three pilgrims native to Saransk were killed in the Mistubishi Outlander, while the truck driver had minor injuries and was allowed to return to his home promptly. An investigation is underway.
