A woman, whose identity was not revealed, was stabbed in an attempted murder, this Monday (27), in the Benedito Bentes neighborhood, in Maceió.

According to police, a team from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) was called and provided first aid. The woman was taken to the State General Hospital (HGE), where she received medical attention.

Witnesses reported that the suspect fled immediately after committing the crime. There is still no information about what motivated the attempted murder.

The case must be investigated by the competent police authorities.
