The incident took place on platform number four of Kharagpur station on Wednesday afternoon. A working TT was seriously injured due to electrocution. The name of the injured is Sujan Singh Sardar. He is currently undergoing treatment at Kharagpur Railway Hospital in critical condition. According to Kharagpur Railway Station, the accident took place in front of the foot overbridge of platform number two and four. The CCTV footage shows that TT standing and talking to another TT. In the middle of the conversation between the two, suddenly an electric wire broke on his body. The other TT standing on the opposite side moved away, but a flash of electricity was seen on Sujan's body. Sujan Singh Sardar fell to the ground after being electrocuted. Fall straight from the platform onto the rail line. Other railway workers rushed in. Sujan was immediately taken to the railway hospital.
