On the afternoon of last Monday (18), a body in an advanced state of decomposition was found in a sugarcane field on the access road to Engenho Crimeia, in Escada, in the Mata Sul region of Pernambuco. The Civil Police suspect that the victim is the app driver Robson Carvalho do Carmo Silva, who had been missing for about 10 days in the region.

The vehicle used by Robson for work was found charred in the same location, increasing suspicions that the body is his. Family members said they recognized the victim by his tattoos, however, official confirmation still depends on tests carried out by the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML).

Preliminary information indicates that the body may have been decapitated and mutilated, indicating extreme violence in the crime. The case is being investigated by the Civil Police, which is working to identify and arrest those responsible for the murder.
