The family of diver Williams da Silva Teixeira , 54, and the company where he worked confirmed that a body found on Friday morning (20) is his. The body was spotted by people who were on a boat near Mar Grande, a town in the municipality of Vera Cruz .

The professional diver had been missing since last Monday (16) , when he was carrying out a survey service for the Salvador -Itaparica bridge near Ponta de Humaitá, in Baía de Todos-os-Santos, in Salvador.

The Technical Police Department (DPT) was called to carry out the investigation, but has not yet officially confirmed that the man found dead was Williams.
