A Conroe ISD employee has been fired after a video posted on social media appears to show the employee hitting a student with an object on a school bus Thursday, according to a district official.Sarah Blakelock, director of communications for Conroe ISD, said the employee was a bus monitor with the district's transportation department.“We are disturbed by this unacceptable behavior which is not representative of our hundreds of hard-working transportation staff,” Blakelock said. “The individual is no longer employed by the district and the Conroe ISD Police Department is completing their investigation with the expectation of pursuing criminal charges.”In the 30-second video posted to Instagram and Nextdoor, the student appears to be exiting the bus when the employee pushes him to the floor of the bus and hits him about four times. As the student tried to get up, the employee appears to push him back down several times. Students on the bus can be heard telling the student not to hit back. The student then gets up and turns toward the camera where blood can be seen on his head.Blakelock declined to release any additional information about the fight or the condition of the student.
