An imam suddenly collapsed while leading morning prayers on Fridays in the month of Ramadan at Jamek Kampung Sermin Mosque, Segamat early yesterday morning.

A 45-second closed-circuit television (CCTV) video recorded in the mosque in question went viral showing the last moments of Mohd. Razif Hussin, 62, who was leading the prayer was attended by about 15 congregations.

The deceased, who was the 1st Imam of the Sermin Jamek Mosque, was seen suddenly collapsing before being helped by some of the congregation who were shocked by the incident.
