Terrifying footage shows the moment the floor at a Colorado home collapsed during a house party, sending over 100 guests crashing through to the basement below.

“A 911 caller reported that ‘people were dying’ and hung up,” the post states. “Upon arrival, emergency personnel observed over 100 juveniles in the street and discovered that a large portion of the first floor collapsed into the basement.”

The homeowners were throwing a birthday party for their 18-year-old grandson when the accident occurred, adding that there is currently no criminal investigation underway.

First responders entered the “badly damaged home” and began search and rescue operations. One victim with reportedly serious injures was taken to a nearby hospital, while two more people were hospitalized with less severe injuries.

SMFR also said that a natural gas line was ruptured during the incident and had to be shut off to “prevent an explosion and fire.”
