Hugo Ichich , 29, is in critical condition in Cobán hospital after being hit on the head with a hammer .

A video shared on social media recorded an incident in which three men, two women and a minor were seen in a room. After a few seconds, Arturo "C", 40 years old, argues with Ichich.

Arturo "C" approaches his brother-in-law and takes a hammer that was in a piece of furniture, surrounds him and the argument continues.

Ichich tries to ignore it, but moments later Arturo "C" hits him with the hammer and the man falls to the ground, with the tool embedded in his skull.

The injured man puts his hand to his head, while a woman and a man try to calm the attacker.

For this fact, the National Civil Police (PNC) captured the man in the Caribe hamlet, Rubelzul, Sayaxche, Petén.

Rescue workers said Ichich had a head injury and a grade one fracture .
