A month ago, the SSP has put the in-charge of the Sadhu Ashram outpost and two constables on the line late on Friday evening for negligence in the matter of beating up ITI students hostage and looting the fees.On June 30, ITI student Bhawani Pratap, a resident of Bada village Ukhlana, was going to the Sadhu Ashram with his friend Pintu Chauhan on a bike. They took out the key of the bike and dragged them to the brick-kiln, where they tied both of them with a pot and beat them with belts, kicks and bribes. Snatched eight thousand rupees of fees kept in Bhavani's pocket and made a video of beating from mobile. There, on August 1, the accused again beat up Pintu Chauhan. The video of the beating went viral on social media. On this, the police registered a case under minor sections. Later, when the matter came to the notice of the higher officials, the section of kidnapping was increased in the case and the named brothers were arrested and sent to jail, while one of the accused is absconding. In this matter, SP Dehat Palash Bansal had set up an inquiry into negligence on Thursday. The victim Bhavani Pratap alleges that under the pressure of the officers, the police have included the section of kidnapping in the case but the section of robbery has not been increased. For this, he will meet the SSP and request for security and justice. It is said that the relatives of the accused and the absconding accused are threatening him.
