On the morning of this Saturday (11/30), a woman identified as Jaliciane Batista had her leg amputated after a violent collision with a truck on Avenida das Torres , in the North Zone of Manaus. She was on the back of a motorcycle.

According to preliminary information, the truck was traveling at high speed on the road when it collided with the motorcycle, throwing both the motorcyclist and Jaliciane. The impact was so strong that the woman's leg was torn off.

The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was taken to Platão Araújo Hospital, in the East Zone, while Jaliciane was taken to João Lúcio Hospital.

The exact causes of the accident must be investigated by the police.
