Two people died after being trapped between pieces of granite in a marble factory in Irajá, in the North Zone of Rio. According to the fire department, the Irajá barracks was called in the morning and they found the death of both victims as soon as they arrived at the scene.

According to reports on the social network, the victims would have gone to the place to buy pieces of marble when they were crushed by units that lost the support of an easel when being handled.

Around 7:30 pm, the civil defense was still working on site to remove the victims. It was necessary to use heavy machinery to rescue the bodies, which would have delayed the removal.
