Moments of terror were experienced in the Olaya Herrera neighborhood of the municipality of Caldas, Antioquia, on the morning of Thursday, January 22, the product of a hitman attack that left a person dead.

The event, which was recorded on video, showed that around 10:30 a.m. a man dressed in striped white poncho and motorcycle helmet entered a butcher shop in the sector.

With a cell phone in hand, the man pretended to be looking for directions for a place and within a few seconds he pulled out a revolver and shot several times against one of the butchers he was attending the site.

Immediately, another of the butchers, who was outside the establishment, lashed out in the back against the hitman, who managed to make other shots in the middle of the dread and the screams of those who were there.

With the help of several people, the butcher managed to arrest the hitman and immobilize him until the police arrived.

In another video you can see the accused murderer, already without a helmet, with blood on his face product of the beating he received from the angry community, which indicated that, in the same butcher shop, a few days ago, they killed another butcher.

The Metropolitan Police of the Aburrá Valley arrived at the scene and took the alleged murderer in the midst of the anger of the neighbors, who insulted and tried to keep hitting him.

The official report of the Police indicates that "the patrol reported that, when arriving at the place, the community made the delivery of an individual who they had held, who moments before had fired against a citizen inside a commercial premises, also the citizenry delivers to the patrol of a 9 millimeter caliber pistol with a supplier and 26 cartridges for it."

Police said the captured is a 28-year-old man, who had blunt blows to his head and face, so he was transferred in an institutional vehicle to the San Vicente de Paul de Caldas hospital, where he received medical attention.

Referring to the victim, they confirmed that it is José Ferney Puerta Moncada, 42. The mobiles of the fact are still research.
