Florida Car Thief Accidentally Locks Himself Inside Corvette, Gets Caught by Owner

A Florida car thief was caught on camera by the car's owner begging to get out of a Corvette that he accidentally locked himself in.

In the video, the Corvette's owner Julio Solano walks up to the vehicle where a man can be seen sitting in the driver's seat.

"My brother, this is not your car, this is my car. Why are you in my car?" Julio Solano asked the man, later identified as 33-year-old Ravesh Rabindranauth.'

"Can I get out?" Rabindranauth asks Solano, who responds, "No, you can't get out. We're calling the cops."

Solano said he had been at breakfast, and was shocked to see a man sitting in his car when he returned, as reported by WPLG.

While Rabindranauth was able to get inside the vehicle, Solano believed that he was not able to start it due to its security systems.

Rabindranauth was arrested by Miami Beach police and has been charged with one count of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance. He is being held at the correctional center on a $2,500 bond.
