Camaquã, Rio Grande do Sul – A man was injured on the afternoon of Friday, May 9, 2025, after a confrontation on Rua Presidente Vargas, in the Bom Sucesso neighborhood, in front of the Municipal Infrastructure Department.

According to information from local residents, the man was looking for his ex-partner with the intention of attacking her, and was even armed with a box cutter. The woman has a restraining order against him.

However, before he could approach his ex, her current partner found him and confronted him. Locals report that the boyfriend gave the man "some advice", and videos circulating on social media show the moment he is beaten and threatened.

The Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) was called and took the injured man to the Nossa Senhora Aparecida Hospital. So far, there is no information about his health condition.

The others involved gave statements at the Camaquã Police Station. They were not injured.
