The driver behind the wheel of a vehicle that killed a construction worker in Brooklyn has been charged.Clyde Mercury, 36, was charged with criminally negligent homicide, reckless endangerment, reckless driving and failure to exercise due care.He is set to be arraigned in a Brooklyn court on Wednesday.Police say the 37-year-old victim was killed after being struck by a Ford Transit that was traveling westbound on Myrtle Avenue between Walworth and Sandford streets in Bedford-Stuyvesant just before 2 p.m. Tuesday.
