- A man is in custody after a pursuit and crash in Fort Walton Beach Tuesday afternoon.

According to Fort Walton Beach Police, officers received a call of a possible active shooter at Thai Spice on Highway 98 and Miracle Strip Pkwy.

When an officer arrived, the suspect, 36-year-old Charles Emerson, took off in a pickup truck and a pursuit began.
