A woman and a construction worker were trapped by rubble after the floor of a shopping center in China collapsed in a dramatic incident captured on CCTV.

The footage shows a woman crossing the floor of a fashion store on the second level of a mall in the city of Zhenjiang in the Jiangsu province

Local media reported that both the woman and a construction worker were trapped but freed by emergency crews.

They were sent to a nearby hospital, however, are now in stable condition.

A manager for the mall said they believe the collapse was caused by damage to a load-bearing wall, however, is still being investigated.
