A woman was dragged naked around Hyderabad by her drunken husband on Tuesday. The man, called Narasimhulu, held a machete in his hand which he used to threaten his wife and anyone who got too close.

The woman had attempted to escape by jumping into a canal but Narasimhulu followed her in and then beat her. It was almost an hour before local people were able to intervene and call the police to arrest him. The incident was allegedly sparked after the woman argued with Narasimhulu.
