woman unloading a vehicle in the vicinity of Rockaway Beach Boulevard and Beach 96 Street when five unknown men approached her and pushed her. The victim fell to the ground and was hit in the head by one of the individuals, causing a laceration to the left side of her head. The suspects removed her wallet from her pocket and fled in a 2023 Nissan SUV that was being rented by the victim. The victim’s cell phone was in the vehicle at the time of the theft. EMS responded and transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
