Woman dies after being run over by a bus in Mauá, and her body remains at the scene for hours

A woman, who has not yet been identified, died after being run over by a bus on Thursday morning (13) on Avenida Benedita Franco da Veiga, in front of the Chiquita bakery, in the Feital neighborhood, in Mauá. The victim was on her way to work when she was hit.

The accident occurred around 7 am, but even with the immediate call to the authorities, the body was still at the scene by almost noon, causing outrage among residents and family members. The delay in removing the body highlights a problem previously reported by Fala Mauá: the lack of a Forensic Medical Institute (IML) in the city.
