Baltimore, MD - Dramatic dashcam video released Tuesday by Maryland State Police shows a trooper saving a man's life.

The trooper arrived at the scene on the Tydings Bridge in Cecil County on Saturday. As the trooper approached, the man began walking on the southbound shoulder and began to climb over the jersey wall.

The trooper was able to quickly get out of his cruiser and tackle the man before he could jump from the bridge.

The man was handcuffed immediately and taken into custody.
