In the middle of the celebration of the Summer Festival in the municipality of Granada, a municipality in the department of Meta, the driver of a private vehicle, apparently in a state of intoxication, killed a person.

The events were recorded by a security camera installed a few meters from the scene of the tragedy and the images show the magnitude of the impact between the two vehicles that caused the death of Rodrigo Solano.

The driver of the public vehicle was also seriously injured in the collision and had to be taken to a healthcare center where his prognosis is reserved, according to local media reports.

The security recording shows the exact moment in which the private vehicle, with plates HIT 084 from Bogotá, crashes spectacularly against the taxi and it in turn strongly hits Rodrigo Solano, a man dedicated to washing vehicles.

Unfortunately, the individual responsible for this tragic event is a fugitive from justice after leaving the scene, which is why the authorities are offering a million-dollar reward to find his whereabouts.
