This is what goes on inside a Russian 2S1 Gvozdika 122mm self propelled Howitzer.

Compared to the American Paladin (in the previous vid that I uploaded) I think this one seems to be easier operated; no manual fuse frolicking and certainly no rope to pull for fireing :-D

I wouldn't want to stand behind that barrel when it fires though. Their helmets (which still seem identical to what I've seen in WW2 movies) won't protect them from massive headache.
