Horrifying footage has captured the moment a man rammed his car into his own mother during a horror high-speed police pursuit.

The dramatic incident unfolded in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with the terrifying moment ending with shots exchanged between the suspect and police. The suspect was hit by one of the shots, and an officer was grazed by another, with both reportedly suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

The Fort Wayne Police Department said they began pursuing an unnamed suspect shortly before 10am on Friday, when they tried to stop a man for an unknown violation before he sped off.

The man then led cops on a high-speed chase to his mother's house, where police said some form of argument ensued before he shockingly drove into her, reports 21ALiveNews.

Despite being sent several feet into the air, the woman, who has also not been named, is expected to be okay after she was rushed to hospital.
