The bodies of a husband and wife who died after their motorbike hit a four-wheel racing vehicle (4x4) which stopped in the emergency alley at Kilometer 415.1 of the North-South Highway (PLUS), near here last night, were safely buried last night.

The bodies of the two victims of the accident on the route from Lembah Beringin to Bukit Tagar at around 11.05 am last night, aged 36 and 38 years respectively, before undergoing post-operative surgery at the Kuala Kubu Bharu Hospital.

Head of the Hulu Selangor Regional Police, Superintendent Ahmad Faizal Tahrim, said the bodies of the couple in question were buried at the Taman Seri Gombak Islamic Cemetery, at 11 o'clock last night.

"The vehicle involved in the accident will be sent to the Computerized Inspection Center (PUSPAKOM) for further investigation," he said.
