A “hot head” former city Department of Corrections captain sucker-punched a man in an unprovoked attack, according to a lawsuit.

Video provided to The Post shows the moment Marc Silverman unleashed a flurry of punches at Christopher Spinella, a graphic designer who was bringing a box of T-shirts to a woman who lives in Silverman’s Staten Island apartment building.

The minute-long clip shows Silverman arguing with Spinella in the parking garage, then the former corrections officer lunges at the graphic designer, punching him in the face.

“To be quite frank, he beat the s—t out of me,” Spinella, 37 told The Post.

Spinella is now suing Silverman, 55, in Staten Island Supreme Court for unspecified damages.

Silverman called the cops on Spinella after the beating — but the graphic designer’s Tesla captured the ordeal on camera.

“They had their guns drawn on me,” Spinella said of responding officers. “They came to arrest me…it wasn’t until I showed them the footage that they arrested him.”
