The sickening incident took place on Alexander Street in Dundee last week and was even brazenly filmed by the driver of the car, who ploughed into the cyclist at twice the speed limit.

The driver, who is filming the incident on a mobile phone, reaches a speed of 60 miles per hour before ramming into the back of the cyclist.

As the cyclist disappears below the bonnet upon contact, the French manufactured motor makes a sickening thud before the motorist speeds off down the road.
