A road widening drive in Uttar Pradesh's Chandauli district turned tragic on Saturday after a Public Works Department (PWD) worker was killed when the dome of an ancient Kali temple rolled onto a busy road during its demolition. The incident took place on GT Road in the Mughalsarai Kotwali area, where authorities were carrying out demolition work as part of a road expansion project.
