“There's someone inside,” a person who recorded with his cell phone was heard shouting as the truck was consumed by fire. That person was allegedly Jessica Domínguez López , who managed to get her son out of one of the windows to save himself, but she was hit by the fire and could no longer survive. However, this version has not been confirmed by the authorities.

According to Juan Carlos Castillejos , spokesperson for the Tabasco government , as a result of the operation, four alleged criminals were arrested, including ' El Topo ', in addition to two more who were killed. There was also speculation on social networks that the criminals had gone to attack the 57th Infantry Battalion . However, although the confrontation between uniformed officers and criminals was confirmed, it was ruled out that it took place in said place, as mentioned in information disseminated by anti-government accounts.
