Around noon, a man armed with a knife tried to rob a pharmacy located in the city center, just two blocks from the Historic Center.

Upon realizing the theft, merchants and citizens tried to stop the criminal, so a chase began.

During the attack, the thief injured three people, one of them seriously.

While fleeing, the criminal entered a shopping mall, where he was cornered. In his desperation he commit suicide by cutting his throat.
