The driver of a truck rammed into people who were helping a pedestrian who was run over in the streets of Los Héroes Tecámac , in the State of Mexico ( Edomex ).A witness to the incident recorded a video in which you can see people around an unconscious person on the road and seconds later a white van advancing through an area where there were several other passers-by.The motorist ran over a man and knocked over a parked motorcycle, in front of dozens of witnesses who screamed in horror.A young man tried to prevent the subject from fleeing by hanging from the vehicle window, but the driver accelerated in reverse to leave him behind.Due to the great speed with which it advanced, people feared for their lives and ran as far as they could.In the recording you can hear a woman, possibly who was behind the camera, asking someone to quickly enter a premises to take shelter.As the driver drove away, a police officer got into his patrol car , possibly to try to catch up with him.The video was broadcast by journalist Fernando Cruz, who shared the details of the case through social networks: “The driver of this truck rammed into people who were helping a subject who moments before had been run over.”However, he did not specify whether the driver who hit the pedestrians was also the one who ran over the first man they were helping.According to local media, the victims are a 48-year-old man and his 40-year-old wife; Both were transferred to the General Hospital of the Americas in the Ecatepec municipality.Police are criticized after incident in Los Héroes TecámacThe recording of the driver who hit people who were helping a man who was run over sparked criticism on social networks from those who considered that the police officer's reaction was slow .Dozens of users showed their indignation with the uniformed man for not doing anything to prevent the subject from attacking people and did not rush to reach the culprit.
