A police officer is being investigated after a social media video appeared to show him striking a disabled man in a wheelchair.

Witnesses were shocked to see the officer 'pushing and punching' the one-legged man as he sat in his chair in St Peter's Road, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk

Norfolk Police said the incident happened after the officer was threatened with a bottle and spat at by 'a verbally abusive' man in the street just after 5.15pm on Monday
