The security camera in a store captured the exact moment when a man playing slot machines began losing and, in frustration, started hitting the machine. This action frightened other customers, prompting the store manager to approach him. Unfortunately, the enraged man pulled out a machete and attacked the manager in the head before fleeing.

The incident took place inside the municipal market of Jalapa, where Volunteer Firefighters were called to the scene to attend to Gabriel de Jesús Caas, a 33-year-old from Quiché.
