A Singapore-flagged cargo ship collided with the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, United States, causing it to collapse.• At 1:28 am. ET, a large container ship crashed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore.• Much of the bridge collapsed immediately, throwing several vehicles, including a group of construction workers, into the water.• Rescuers believe at least 7 construction workers were on the bridge, but say the number could be as high as 20.• The container ship, the Dali, flying the Singapore flag, left Baltimore for Sri Lanka. The ship sustained significant damage, including a possible breach in the hull.• The cause of the collision was not immediately clear.
