The young man who died after falling from a telephone tower on Wednesday afternoon (21), in Artur Nogueira, was identified as Weslley Xavier da Silva, 37 years old. The body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Americana, where it will undergo necroscopic examinations.

The incident occurred in Jardim Saciloto II and mobilized teams from the Fire Department, Military Police, Municipal Guard, Civil Defense, Traffic Agents, and the 192 Emergency Rescue Service.

According to reports, the young man remained at the top of the tower for about two hours. During that time, teams attempted to persuade him to descend safely, but despite their efforts, they were unable to prevent the tragedy.
