The man was hit by the horse during a race in Pomavilca town center in the province of Acobamba, Peru.

Lande Faustino Delgadillo, 50, was on the phone seconds before the accident and that cost him his life.

The man died on arrival at hospital due to severe multiple trauma and respiratory failure.
