Albuquerque Police has released surveillance and lapel video of the shooting of Detective Jacob Grant.

Grant was shot by fellow officer, Lieutenant Greg Brachle last year. Lieutenant Brachle shot Grant nine times at point-blank range during an undercover drug bust in January 2015. Grant was nearly killed.

The City of Albuquerque has settled a lawsuit filed by Detective Grant earlier this week. According to the city, the settlement amount is $6.5 million and the city will cover Grant’s medical expenses for the rest of his life.
