Police Chase bank robber, Pits the suv and a shootout erupts.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol have released footage showing a pursuit of a dangerous bank robber. The suspect had shot at bank employees moments before and was still considered armed and dangerous.

During the pursuit officers also noticed a passenger inside the vehicle who was being held hostage. After a number of minutes police spun out the suspects vehicle and the driver ran out.

Police then exchange multiple shots, killing the suspect. The hostage was also struck but survived and is now recovering.
