Bodycam Video Released Shows Fatal Shooting of Autumn Steele

In January 2015, Burlington Police Officer Jesse Hill was responding to a domestic dispute involving Autumn Steele and an adult male when he said the family dog attacked him.

An investigation found that Hill slipped on the ice when he fired his weapon and shot Steele, killing her. Hill was never charged or disciplined, over the objections of Steele's family.
