Surveillance video footage has recorded the kind-hearted act of three passersby who went out of their way to protect the victims of a traffic accident who were lying unconscious on a street in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

An accident which involved a car and an electric vehicle on the night of April 30 caused two passengers to fall off their vehicle and lose consciousness. Four other passengers who were in the other automobile stood flabbergasted, not knowing what to do.

Luckily, three people, who happened to be passing by the scene, jumped in for help using flashlights and body signs to protect the injured from being run over by passing cars… even at the expense of their own lives.

In a period of 14 minutes, the three brave people managed to divert 16 vehicles, potentially preventing a catastrophic end to an already severe road accident.
