West Jordan Police have released bodycam video showing deputies subdue a man in the process of committing arson. They were initially called to the house after they revived calls of a suicidal man attacking family members.

After deputies arrived they found a shirtless man lighting a large fire next to the wall. They deployed a taser and dragged the suspect out of the burning home. Family members inside managed to escape without any injuries.

The suspect has since been booking into Salt Lake County Jail on aggravated arson and aggravated assault
