In a shocking incident, a retired cop was thrashed to death over land dispute in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The cop was attacked by few people and beaten up with sticks and rods. Injured cop was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries. Police later informed that the attackers were relatives of the cop who had dispute over land with the cop. Police said that a case has been registered in the matter based on the available CCTV footage and appropriate action will be taken against the culprits after the investigation.
