A ventilation grille near an outdoor concert venue collapsed Friday in Seongnam city, South Korea, killing at least 16 concert watchers and injuring 20 others.

Fire officials who arrived at the scene shortly after the accident have rescued 25 people as of 8:00 p.m.

They said the number of casualties could rise as there are many critically injured people.

About 20 people who stepped onto the grille fell about 10 meters (like... 4 stories?) below when it collapsed around 5:50 p.m. Friday.

At the time of the accident, about one-thousand people may have been watching the concert by K-pop girl group 4Minute at an outdoor theater U-Space in Bundang, Seongnam city.
