On Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at about 11:40 pm, the victims were walking on Dauphine St from Ursuline St toward Gov Nichols St. As they got to Gov Nichols St, they passed up three unknown subjects. One subject was sitting on a set of steps and the other two were standing in the street in front of the corner house. After they passed the subjects, the one from the steps approached victim #1, grabbed her by the arm, placed a small black handgun to her head and demanded their property. Victim #3 handed over his phone and wallet. The subject attempted to grab victim #1’s purse and yank it off of her body but was unsuccessful. The subject then let go of victim #1 and approached victim #2. The subject attempted to yank her purse from her body. Victim #2 observed a passerby on a bike and began to yell for help. The three subjects fled the location, running up Gov Nichols St toward Burgundy St then unknown. The victims then ran down Dauphine St, turned left on Dumaine St, and stopped when they reached Bourbon St so they could call the police from a populated area.
