Frightening footage showed an irate Amazon delivery person punching out a New York City resident during an altercation outside an apartment building on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

James Hanks, 41, wound up with a black eye and a broken pair of eyeglasses after the unnamed delivery woman slugged him outside his apartment on the afternoon of November 20.

Hanks was leaving his apartment when he encountered the woman yelling at the building's doorman. He gave her a look as he passed, and she then proceeded to begin yelling at him too.

Once outside, Hanks began filming her and the encounter turned violent when she popped him in the eye while demanding he stop filming.

Hanks reported the incident to Amazon, and he said after a week of getting the runaround from the retail giant they finally acknowledged the incident and agreed to pay for his glasses.
