A man threatened to jump from the 2nd floor of a building in downtown Porto Alegre, RS.

The incident occurred on Rua Marechal Floriano, in the historic center of Porto Alegre. Firefighters and police were at the scene.

The road was blocked to respond to the incident.

The man was restrained by firefighters.

Firefighter Eduardo Augusto fell during the incident and was taken to the HPS, where he underwent imaging tests, which revealed only a fracture in his left heel.

No spinal or pelvic injuries.
