The video was spread through social networks in which the driver of a taxi is seen running over a man after a road accident in the streets of Polanco , Mexico City, and before the astonished gaze of several witnesses.

The video begins with images of an allegedly pirate taxi - because it does not have stickers or the driver's identification - accelerating at full speed while it is on top of a man who is lying on the ground.

Seconds later the taxi driver tries to escape and passes the rear tires of the car over the man and drags him a few meters until he is finally lying on the asphalt and the vehicle is hindered by another truck that prevented him from passing.

Some witnesses run to chase the taxi to prevent it from escaping, while others help the 45-year-old man who was rushed to a hospital to assess the severity of his injuries.

Drivers involved in a motorist brawl in Polanco are arrested.
