Yahukimo Police conducted a crime scene investigation of a murder and burning of a truck in Yahukimo Regency. The activity was led directly by the Yahukimo Police Chief, AKHP Heru Hidayanto.

It is known that the murder and burning of a truck occurred precisely on Jalan Kampung Masi, Dekai District. In addition to the crime scene investigation, police officers also conducted patrols around the location of the incident.

Yahukimo Police Chief stated that around 100 joint personnel conducted sweeps and searches. The sweeps were conducted in several huts suspected of being used as hiding places for the perpetrators.

"From the search, we found several sharp tools. In addition, there were also homemade weapons that were suspected of being used by the group," said the Police Chief, Tuesday (7/8/2024).

Yahukimo Police Chief emphasized that TNI-Polri officers will continue to pursue the group. " We will not remain silent and I assure you we will arrest these groups," he said.

The Yahukimo Police Chief also appealed to the people of Yahukimo Regency to remain calm and always be vigilant. "Trust us, the TNI-Polri apparatus, we will always maintain security and order in Yahukimo Regency," said the Police Chief.
